This product uses only clear seawater from Sakito-cho, facing the Goto-nada Sea at the western edge of Nagasaki Prefecture. Our unique flat pot manufacturing method and seawater concentration technology preserve the original taste of salt while reducing sodium content by 30% (salt ratio). This moist and mild salt containing bittern, a blessing of the sea, is perfect for daily use as well as for pickles. It is recommended for people who want to reduce their sodium intake but do not want to lose the saltiness.
